This forced-control pinch valve is equipped with an elastomere collar that is rigidly connected with the hand wheel via a mechanism. It is possible to set the valve to every desired position with the hand wheel. Any position is possible, whether completely open, closed or only partly open for use as control valve. The valve body is made from aluminium and has a very low own weight. The collar overlaps the flange, so it substitutes an additional gasket and prevents the flange from coming into contact with the medium flowing through. The open valve always achieves a 100 % passage. This prevents pressure losses and obstructions. The valve is available in different nominal diameters ranging from DN 015 to DN 250 with the flange connections PN 10/16 or ANSI 150 lbs. Depending on the diameter, the valves’ operating pressure ranges between 2 and 6 bar. Depending on the customer specification, the elastomeric collars are available in the materials natural rubber abrasion-resistant, natural rubber food quality, neoprene, EPDM, Hypalon and nitrile. Because of that it is possible to use the valve for virtually all kinds of problem materials.
