The SSR M55 and M75 rotary screw air compressors have neat, compact panels which are easily removed for routine mainte-
nance. The user-friendly Intellisys controller on the compressors automatically monitors every aspect of operation and can even indicate when the machines should be serviced, to encourage efficient service schedules for maximum performance and reliability. At only 1.96 m2, the compressors have a very low footprint. Nevertheless, the M55/ M75 package still incorporates a high dust inlet filter, a condensate separator and drain trap as standard features. The compressors also utilise an IP54 star/delta starter and a TEFV IP55 4-pole motor. The TEFV motor is rated for an ambient temperature of 46 °C and is utilised so that the maximum temperature rise is not more than 89 °C at full load. The standard motor is a 400V/ 3ph/50Hz TEFV unit, the compressors are also available with motors at other voltages.
