Bottom valves lock or open reactors thus enabling measuring of the liquid level and/or take a sampling from the product. The bottom valve type EC-BV of EMail-Cover is offered in the size DN 100 to DN 250 and is adapted to the respective reactor in design and material. The valve is designed to measure the pressure in the reactor whereby the pressure sensor made of stainless steel measures the pressure from 0 to 7 bar or 0 to 17 bar and that at process temperatures up to 230 °C. In addition, the bottom valve can be equipped with a hole valve stem to facilitate the sampling. The advantage: the pressure measurement is done at the deepest point of the reactor and the sampling is taken out of that well mixed area under the agitator. Valves includes stainless steel and Hastelloy constructions. Glass-lined vessels can be equipped in equivalent material.
