Building on the concept of belt-driven screw compressor with drive ratings up to 110 kW the manufacturer is now constructing the S-series up to 160 kW. S 180 and S 220 are available with the excess pressures of 8, 10 and 13 bar. They are silenced or super-silenced and fit for wall or corner installation. The GM drive system ensures constant belt tension and a main-tenance-free V-belt drive. They are equipped with the economic control, regulating and monitoring system ARS. Infinitely variable output regulation is, in conjunction with ARS, a suitable form of compressor control when dealing with strong fluctuations in compressed air requirements and small storage volumes. The combined compressed air/oil receiver located at the lowest level in a horizontal posi-tion rapidly degasses the oil with minimum foam formation. Thus resulting in a constantly low residual oil content of the compressed air of only 1 to 3 mg/m³ in each operating stage. The oil circuit has no valves, i.e. is not fitted with oil stop and check valves.
