The butt fusion machine SG 315 is developed for industrial applications. It is designed for pipes and fittings in the materials PP, PE and PVDF at all nominal pressure levels and a dimension range of d 90 to 315 mm. In addition to the standard version with 230 V for the planer and heating element, a special 115 V version is also available. The machine base is sturdy and non-warping. The slide runs on a high-precision linear guide and the crank handle has a torque-locking mechanism for slide movement. The heating element is equipped with electronic temperature control and is PTFE-coated. For safety reasons, the correct planer position is monitored by a microswitch and the start button is integrated in the hand lever.
As an alternative for segment fusion up to max. 30°, there is the SG 315-S. For accurate pipe alignment, e.g. with a pipe offset, the swivel tables can be adjusted perpendicular to the machine axis. It is also possible to retrofit the SG 315 to the SG 315-S version.
