The Sollich cooling tunnel can be used for cooling and conditioning tablet slabs or continuous ropes. Particular attention has been paid to the observance of hygiene requirements in the pharmaceutical industry in respect of the design. All components in contact with products are FDA au-thorised, the air temperature is prepared by using Hepa filters with control. All measuring points are easily accessible and simple to calibrate. The maximum cooling capacity of the pharmaceutical tunnel is 10 kW. The measuring and control technology guarantees a high reproducibility. The control has data archiving facilities by means of electronic data acquisition of air volumes and air temperature. Documentation in the form of risk analyses, hardware and software design specifications and operating instructions correspond to the requirements of the pharmaceutical industry.
