SWR-engineering developed a system, which measures bulk solids automatically during the flow. Thereby no installations must be made into the cross section. Any quantity, which can be conveyed, is measurable. No matter, if the flow rate is between 30 or 300 or more t/h. The overall height of the sensor element is only 400 mm. The sensor is easily mounted into an existing piping. A small inlet section of approximately 200 mm is only necessary, when a pulsating conveying is to be measured. An optimal condition is given, if the filling degree of the sensor is at least 20 in order to receive reproducible results of measurement. Inside the Maxxflow a homogeneous measuring field is produced by special linking of a high frequency, electromagnetic alternating field. Solids, which are within this measuring field, absorb the energy of this alternating field. This leads to a measuring signal according to the concentration of the material to be conveyed in the measuring pipe.
