Petrochemical process pump

The CPXN petrochemical process pump is a centreline-mounted pump rated at 25 bar working pressure. It is aimed at applications where pumped liquids have a searching nature or significant temperature fluctuations.

The CPXN’s centreline mounting offers the uniform thermal expansion required in these duties, which are found in refinery offsite, chemical, pharmaceutical and industrial processes. The CPXN pump also has PN50 (Class 300) flanges as standard for high sealing integrity at high pressures. Dense coverage is provided by 38 pump sizes in the CPXN range with capacities up to 700 m3/h and generated heads up to 180 m. The CPXN pump features oil lubricated bearings as standard and is available in steel, stainless steel and high alloy materials. The open impeller concept provides superior solids handling performance and reduced maintenance costs. Thetwisted vane design of the impeller is very efficient and lowers the energy requirement for the pump. The ability to adjust the clearance on the impeller also maintains the high efficiency and low running costs of the pumps. Furthermore the CPXN range has the facility to fit a whole host of mechanical seals whether single, double, tandem or cartridge, offering user flexibility to lower maintenance and downtime costs. The double and tandem seal arrangements supported by a range of flush plans and auxiliary systems are particularly suited to severe and/or environmentally sensitive applications.
