SAP R/3-interface for Scada-systems

intraFactory EnterpriseServer is a plant data management system for collecting plant data from Scada systems and communicating them to the ERP system for commercial evaluation and controlling. intraFACTORY has open interfaces for communicating plant data to the following systems:

• Scada systems like FactoryLink ECS,

• LIMS (laboratory information systems) like intraPoint,

• WiP (work in progress systems) like Xfactory and

• the SAP R/3-system.

All interfaces are based on worldwide standards and guarantee maximum flexibility and maximum security for future compatibility and development. The user interface of intraFactory is built with ActiveX documents. These documents are configured during startup of the system via a configuration database and are used within the Internet Explorer. The advantages are obvious: due to its simple configuration the user interface can easily be adapted to the individual requirements of an application and easily be localized to country specific language. The complete software maintenance and service is carried out at the intraFactory EnterpriseServer.

IntraFactory EnterpriseServer is based on a web server like Microsofts Internet information server on Windows NT. Besides this the system makes use of a database for all the order and plant data as well as the system configuration data.
