The Pharmasep units combine a vibrating separator and a vacuum dryer. It enables the user to separate a dry powder in a totally contained vessel or collect, dewater, rince and dry a slurry in only one unit. The Pharmasep is fabricated following the requirements of the pharmaceutical industries such as virtually no gap design (0.1-0.3 µm), full clean in place and steam in place (SIP/CIP), all inlets/outlets and accessory ports of tri-clover type ferrules, class 100 clean room design and manufactured to CGMP standards. The Vibro-Dry Tm technology allows separating and vacuum drying to occur within the Pharmasep while the product is gently tumbled on the screen to promote better separation and faster drying. The separator exists from the lab size to the production size. A complete range of options are avail-able such as a motion control analyser to scientifically record the movements of the unit or a quick change as a screen changing assistant.
