The stainless steel version of the BOA-H bellowstype valve is added to the PN 40 modular design range. The model comes with bodies made of 1.4408 and is available in nominal diameters ranging from DN 10 to 100. All wetted components are made of CrNiMo steel. A graphite safety gland packing ensures reliable stem sealing, should the double-walled bellows fail. The medium handled is prevented from escaping into the atmosphere. A shoulder-type back seat at the stem serves as travel stop and anti-blow out device. At the same time, it provides additional safety by relieving stress on the gland packing. The valve’s design and testing are based on the DIN 3356 design standards, the DIN 3230 specifications, the German TRB 801 No. 45 pres-sure vessel regulations, as well as the relevant emission control legislation and the pertinent implementation rules of the German Clean Air Regulations (TA Luft).
