The 16-Bit microprocessor-controlled Trovis 6493 shows a flexible and easy-to-configure control structure. The panel mounting unit (48 mm x 96 mm) can issue a continuous signal and is equipped with two relays which provide the option of utilizing limit value signals, binary signals or three-step and two-step signals. The controller has two selectable standard analog inputs for standardized signals as well as transmitter supply. The binary input enables implementation of numerous functions. The selectable control modes fixed setpoint, follow-up and feedforward control as well as setpoint ramp and output ramp operation are only part of its great variety of functions. As many as 50 configurations and 105 parameters allow realizing versatile solutions for different control tasks. The display with 7 digits as well as 14 digits for clear text messages and with additional status symbols supports easy handling. The dust-tight and splash-proof front sheet complying with IP 65 makes the compact controller an ideal instrument for use in processing industries.
