The e-dis industry is based on the principle of electrolytic water desinfection and has been developed with the objective of meeting the special demands in process and cooling water systems, especially regarding the elemination of legionella and other pathogenic germs. The key component of this technology is the electrolytic cell equipped with electrodes coated with a catalytic surface. The water to be disinfected flows through the electrodes. An applied minor electrical current helps to electrochemically convert existing water ingredients into desinfectant. Without adding chemicals or even salt, e-dis industry ensures hygenic, odourless water while also protecting the environment. A low concentration of desinfectant generated by the e-dis industry eliminates Legionella and other pathogenic germs. The residual effect of the desinfectant not only disintegrates exisiting biofilms but also prevents the formation of new. A sophisticated measuring and control technology makes it easy to monitor and ajust the production of desinfectant at any time. The compliance with the limit values of applying laws is thus guaranted.
