Treating contaminated water or effluent with UV-light after the addition of hydrogen peroxide creates high oxidation potentials which leads to an efficient and expeditious decomposition of pollutants. This environmentally-friendly technology works within disinfecting effects and without building of any residues.
The UviTox-System has proved in several applications e.g. purification of groundwater, rinsing waters in chemical, pharmaceutical or electroplating industry. With the performance of UviTox-UV-System the conventional tube reactor (a hollow cylinder containing centrally one UV-emitter surrounded by a UV-light permeable quartz tube) was developed concerning new researching results. Special features like uniquely adapted UV-lamp, innovative radiation chamber configuration with a cooling jacket, tangential jet head water injection system, open quartz tube, removable front panel and modular construction lead to wide range of applications, optimal UV penetration, high energy transfer resulting to efficient decomposi-tion, easily configuration for a variety of flow rates and contamination complexities and easy accessibility to system internals.
