Absolute sterile pumps

The nutating disc pump Genta4-05 has been designed for applications in laboratories as well as in pilot plants. It was developed for sterile processes, particularly for biotechnology and pharmaceutical applications. The outstanding performance of the Genta pumps – size 20-04 as well as the small size 4-05 – is achieved by the nutating disc principle. The excentrically driven nutating disc generates a peristaltic-like displacement in the chamber on each of the disc’s sides. This leads to a constant flow characteristic.

The most important and exeptional features of the Genta series is as follows:

• gentle transport of most sensitive media,

• successful cleaning and sterilization during CIP/SIP processes,

• preservation of sterile conditions at all times,

• permanent monoseptic conditions,

• security against contamina-tion of the product,

• prevent product leakage into the environment,

• easy disassembly without any risks for the sterile conditions. The concept of the Genta guarantees maximum process safety. Even dry-runnings for a short time will not harm the pump. The nutating disc pumps Genta are without rotating mechanical shaft seals and thus totally enclosed.
