The V1C series is a line of cageguided, balanced control valves that offer high pressure capabilities, characterized flow and tight shutoff. Produced in 1-1/20 through 60 sizes, the V1C series provides accurate control on a wide range of services including throttling and on/off control of non-gritty liquids, gas and steam. For application versatility, three bonnet styles are available. There are a number of trim options that ca be specified including cavita-tion control cages for noise reduction; hard facing for difficult services; and Cv reductions for reduced flow requirements. The valves are produced with carbor steel or stainless steel bodies and feature pneumatic spring actuators in a variety of sizes for services with pressure drops exceeding 1500 psi. The globe style seat design can be provided with linear or equal percentage flow characteristic. For tight shutoff requirements, soft seats can be specified for ANSI Class VI bubble-tigh shutoff.
