The F37 flared flange programme from the Tube Fittings Division Europe of Parker Hannifin is an attractive alternative to the conventional welding of tubes with large outside diameters up to 140 mm. With the reduction to just a few operations, flange assembly saves a great deal of time and costs compared with welding. The basis for this product extension is Parflange technology. The Parflange process produces a high-strength flared connection with a smoothed surface at the tube end. The flaring machine which this requires is also a part of the product range. During assembly, a tube insert is introduced onto the flared tube end, which with its soft sealing closes the possible leak paths not only on the flange side but also on the tube. The flange-side sealing is achieved with the F37 seal, which displays especially high shape stability and extrusion strength at high temperatures. The flange connectors can be supplied with chromiumVI-free surfaces and in stainless steel,
and comply with ISO 6162-1/-2 and ISO 6164 dimensions and hole patterns.
