The butterfly valves 567 from GF Piping Systems are available for DN 50 to DN 200. The double eccentric principle of the disc provides an excellent seal to the outside while two additional sealing elements are contained in the passage. This principle also permits having all the components that come into contact with the medium in the same material as the pipeline, which reduces permeation. Furthermore, the actuation torque has been reduced, hence increasing the service life. Due to the double eccentricity, the actuation torque depends largely on the medium pressure in the butterfly valves which have been designed for a nominal pressure of PN 10. This enables using smaller actuators in many applications with lower medium pressure. The electric position feedback is integrated in the mounting flange. The butterfly valve is available in the materials PVC-U, PVC-C, ABS, PP-H, PVDF with EPDM and FPM seals.
